Blanket ban - Is this a solution?

Of late, the newspaper comes to my home so late that I leave for office by that time it arrives. I happened to see a news today that a lady from Mumbai had demanded the Court to ban porn sites because it affects married life.

Her argument is, "if at 55, my hubby can be hooked onto porn ignoring married life, what would be the status of youngsters?"

This argument has no logic. Just because her hubby is hooked onto porn does not mean all men would be doing so! Today's yougnsters have had seen enough porn that by their age of marriage they would get bored of this stuff.

What did she do to her husband as a wife? She had every opportunity to change it. How can porn damage her married life? It is supposed to add spice to it. She has good weapons to divert her husband with TV channels. Our news channels are more pornographic than real porn.

She can have the Nanny software to have a check on the sites her husband visit. She demands a blanket ban. Just because there are film-addicts, can we ban the whole industry?

Why we behave so badly? We will be soon overtaking China in population and we claim we do not see porn? Perhaps we believe in doing than watching!

We are matured enough to choose what we have to do. Its high time she took her husband to a phsyciatrist and get treated rather than doing such stupid things.
